1. PROMOTION DESCRIPTION: The RIPLEY’S BELIEVE IT OR NOT!® SLOTS CELEBRATION ("Promotion") begins on July 31, 2017 at 10:00 am Pacific Daylight Time and ends when all prizes have been awarded (planned to end August 21, 2017) ("Promotion Period").
Free Slot Games of Las Vegas ("Sponsor") is the sponsor of this Promotion. By participating in the Promotion, each Entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is responsible for the collection, submission or processing of Entries and the overall administration of the Promotion. Entrants must contact Sponsor with any questions, comments or problems related to the Promotion. During the Promotion Period, Sponsor may be reached by email at promo@freeslotgamesoflasvegas.com.
2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age who play the free Ripley’s Slots app and provide a verified email address in the free in-app VIP Club ("Entrant"). Ripley Entertainment, Sponsor, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, advisors, consultants and contractors (collectively, "Promotion Entities"), and Household and/or Immediate Family Members of Promotion Entities, are ineligible to enter the Promotion or win a prize. "Household Members" shall mean those people who share the same residence at least three months a year. "Immediate Family Members" shall mean spouses, parents, step-parents, legal guardians, children, step-children, siblings or step-siblings. This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
3. PRIZES:
TOTAL approximate retail value (“ARV”) = $20,550.
Prizes: 1 winner of $250, 2 winners of $100, 5 winners of $50, 20 winners of $25, 150 winners of a Ripley’s Coffee Table Book (ARV = $29), 500 winners of a Ripley’s Attraction Pass (ARV = $30).
Only one prize per person and per household will be awarded. Ripley’s Attraction Passes are subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer. Prizes cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or substituted by winner. No substitution or transfer of a prize is permitted except by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value if a prize described in these Official Rules is unavailable or cannot be awarded, in whole or in part, for any reason. All determinations are final and binding and cannot be appealed. If the actual value of the prize turns out to be less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded in cash. Sponsor makes no representation or warranty concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize awarded. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize items.
This Promotion is open only to legal residents of the United States aged 18 or older, and prize will only be awarded and/or delivered to valid postal addresses within the United States. All federal, state and/or local taxes, fees and surcharges are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Failure to comply with the Official Rules will result in forfeiture of the prize.
4. HOW TO ENTER: During the Promotion Period, all VIP Club members (open to individuals who are existing or newly joining, free to join with a verified email address) within the Ripley’s Slots App (free to download) are eligible. A daily skill-based “Question of the Day” trivia question is presented to VIP Club members by touching the “Bonus” meter (“Entry”). A correct trivia answer on the first try (i.e. “Right on the 1st Guess”) awards a chance at a prize in the form of a spin of the Big Prize Wheel.
Limit 1 Entry per day. Automated or robotic Entries submitted by individuals or organizations will be disqualified. Any attempt by Entrant to obtain more than one daily Entry by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, installations, registrations, logins or any other methods, including, but not limited to, automated systems, commercial contest/sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering services, will void Entrant's Entries and that Entrant may be disqualified. Final eligibility for the award of any prize is subject to eligibility verification as set forth below. Sponsor's database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Promotion.
5. WINNER SELECTION: The Winners of the Promotion will be determined through a spin of the Big Prize Wheel after answering the Question of the Day correctly. The Odds of spinning the Big Prize Wheel, with a 1% chance of winning a prize (depicted as the Big Prize segment), will vary depending on the Entrant’s ability to answer the Question of the Day correctly.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winner will be notified immediately in-app upon the conclusion of the Big Prize Wheel spin. Upon notification, in order to accept and receive a prize, Potential Winner must confirm eligibility and immediately (a) acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, and (b) provide Entrant name and valid United States postal mailing address. Sponsor is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive said Entrant acceptance and/or information for any reason, including but not limited to inactive email account, app technical difficulties, Winner’s failure to adequately monitor the app and/or associated email account.
Any winner notification not responded to may result in prize forfeiture at the sole discretion of Sponsor. The potential prize winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability in order to receive a prize. At the sole discretion of Sponsor, an email declaration of eligibility and/or release of liability may be substituted.
7. PRIVACY: Any personal information supplied by you will be subject to the privacy policy of the Sponsor posted at www.freeslotgamesoflasvegas.com. By entering the Promotion, you grant Sponsor permission to share your email address and any other personally identifiable information with the other Promotion Entities for the purpose of administration and prize fulfillment. If a winner of a prize, you agree to the use of your name in-app and in a publicly available Winner List.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Promotion Entities assume no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of Entries and/or Entrant’s information at any point in the operation of this Promotion; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, camera, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Promotion; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the Internet or website or any combination thereof; (e) suspended or discontinued Internet, wireless or landline phone service; (f) any mistake, error or omission on the part of Promotion Entities or within the Ripley’s Slots app; and (g) any injury or damage to participant or to participant's or to any other person’s computer or mobile device which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Promotion or download of any materials in the Promotion.
If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running or completing as planned for reasons which may include without limitation, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, Sponsor mistake, error or omission or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, timeliness, duration or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion in whole or in part. Specifically, Sponsor reserves the right to (a) modify the chance of winning a Big Prize on the Big Prize Wheel to target the planned duration of the Promotion Period and/or (b) award any remaining prizes (up to the total ARV as set forth in these Official Rules) in a manner deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor. Sponsor and Promotion Entities shall not have any further liability to any participant in connection with the Promotion.
